artist bio
Kim Snitker began painting large murals in 2006 after completing a mural for an Albuquerque elementary school library. A set designer and artist by trade, Snitker enjoyed the fact that murals make living and working spaces more beautiful.

Snitker received a B.F.A. at the Columbus College of Art & Design in 1988 with an emphasis on sculpture and painting, and an M.A. from New Mexico State University in sculpture. She also studied set design in the masters program at DePaul University.

Snitker lives in Albuquerque with her husband, Kyle, a photographer, and daughter, Zoah, a drama queen.
